Hi Guy. Very interesting indeed. I think the straight string lines detracted from the debstep theme. Would have been more interesting if some movement was added to the sound. Bass also lacked definition and was muffled but I know how hard it is for subs to cut thru in the mix as it consumes so much energy at that frequency. I enjoyed listening. Thanks!

Thanks for listening :)
I know what you mean about the strings but I like what they add to the melody, maybe they're a bit loud.
I thought the bass was ok but i'm mixing mainly on headphones, any ideas? It's quite heavily eqed?
Thanks again

I like it musically and productionwise. I think a little movement in the strings is good. maybe some tremololike effect. When they build up to the chord 2.20-2.50.
I would have done some kinda filterswee, because all the other sounds have their processing which forms up to a nice track. Except the string sound.

Or you turn it down a little, put a filtered delay behind it. I don´t know. Big, big stabs, like them.

Bassline is also very good. Maybe a little bit to bassheavy. But in a pretty good shape and with enough smack and clarity.

That´s the hardest part with mixing on hdphns.

But you did a great job. Makes me to get more into your stuff. First track I liked in the Ableton-Linkyour music-section. Btw, I´ve listened to 12 tracks before this one.

And also brw, No Wobble. Yoohoo!!!! Why can´t there be more stuff like this in the dubstep genre? The whole wobble thing killed it imo.
