you'll need a rack of samplers for that
(with samples that are supposed to choke on 1 'sampler' that has 'voices' set to 1..)

or

use a drum rack 'chokes' with a bunch of 'samplers'..

in short.. there's no 'choke' function in sampler... the function is achieved using racks

...hehe..what can you do eh?
(it's still doable btw... pretty easily)

..I think sampler functionality is highly dependent on racks anyways.. even without the 'choke' issue...
so learning to use 'sampler' ..you would benefit from learning the instrument/drum rack functions

Yes but this is still causing difficulty for me when converting my kits from EXS

Just bought Sampler myself and am having some issues with EXS instruments - are you getting it to import properly? I tried some of the pianos and it seems to hang intermittently. I imported a drum kit and it works OK.

OT but my favorite thing to do so far is sample my CPU hog Reaktor synths and make Sampler instruments - wicked! Loving Sampler...so flexible for sound design....
