I'd like to map my controller so that I could move/nudge selected samples horizontally in the timeline, or even timestretch them. All this by turning a knob. Tadaaa...
It's impossible, I know.

Happy to have a mouse wheel...

Exactly. I collect a bunch of samples from the browser and then arrange them on the tracks. Then I turn the grid off and nudge samples on the tracks. It'd be great to have a one pot mapped for the horizontal nudging and one pot for the timestretching.

Anyway, It's a real treat to use Live's browser and it's preview which always work in 'realtime'. I tried to recreate this workflow in Logic but was forced to go back to Live because of great latency in previewing samples.

edit: Maybe it would be even more useful to use arrow keys or mouse wheel for nudging clips and samples. If you can move loop brackets you should be able to move some clips as well, right?
