Help me write a tune and get my ass to Europe

So you may or may not be aware that I am venturing off to the northern hemisphere at the start of June. I'll be hitting between 12 and 15 countries, including the UK, Scotland, Israel and Russia to name a few (full schedule will be up soon). I will be performing at festivals and nightclubs, as well as hosting some workshops.

It's a very exciting time, and all the flights are getting locked in, however the main flight from little old Kiwiland and back has to come out of my pocket, and it aint cheap!

Last time, I did a call out for some help for that ticket, and had enough cash to get there within a very short amount of time (thanks thanks thanks), so I thought I should try a similar thing, however this time I want to make it fun, and give something back to those who help out.

Those who help out can join up in a mass collaboration with me to write a new tune.

Choose something from the list, a sound, a melody... whatever you like. It's yours, you now own that part of the tune.

On Saturday the 8th of May, you join me in a video chat with the rest of the crew who chose an element and we have chat for a while, before I start digging into writing the tune, screen casting my screen and giving commentary as it is happening

When we get to your element, we work together thanks to the amazing interwebs on building that into what you think works with the tune. Of course the other guys get to watch and pitch in as well but at the end of the day, you have the final say.

I keep this going as long as I can stay awake.... hopefully we all get a tune well underway, and near the end we will agree on another time to meet up and get things finished.

Once the tune is finished, it belongs to you and the rest of the crew. The Ableton files, the samples, the mixdown... it's yours and no one else gets it.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this goes, I'm finally at a stage where I have the resources I need to pull off some mad collaboration like this, and I reckon it's going to be a great way to spend a Saturday. I hope it's raining.

oh..education for us stupid europeans.. ok ..i see its hard to use such a complikated software as abeton live..
But there are so many people here that do this simple training.. so you better focus on something usefull like some deep max shit...
or even better... tell us that you are the son of the former kiwi president ..and that there are 50000000 kiwi dollars in cash you have to bring out of the country and who is helping you can keep half of it...

nope, i think you are a cool guy and the collab idea is fab, you got the point that did not feel right, even your vids are ace, but there are plenty of extremely knowledgable people spread all over the world.

considering chords - if I can think of an interesting pattern tonight, I'll lay down some cash. This is a great way of trying to raise money and as you do a lot of free amazing stuff for the community I'm definitely up for being part of this.
