When the APC40 was released someone here did a shop of one with just knobs without the session launch buttons or faders. That is the controller for me. Automatically assigning knobs to various effects / racks. It can happen!!!

Im thinking about making my own midi controller now that i have all the information i need to do it, and i was trying to explain to a friend of mine what was the goal, so i took an apc40 picture and started from there. Hopefully, i'll post a picture of the real one soon :)

stapum

can you describe briefly how you use bcr2000 with live - which functions?

I have made several attempts to start using this beast, but it always got too complicated.

Shouldn't really be called the "AJC400" in that case?

Walls of modular synths are out of fashion. Now we want walls of backlit plastic buttons!

Yep, I'd definitely put this one upright and have a small elevating platform set up next to it during live shows.
Needless to say, I would not do anything live but push one button every 20 minutes and recite my favorite parts of the Revelation (with a lethal dose of reverb of course) over the noise playing.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead.
Then he placed his right hand on me and said:
"Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last!
I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever!
And I hold the keys of death and Hades!"
