Well I guess you must be just using pre-made loops and presets from someone else - if you're doing that then yeah I can see how Ableton is easy.... but for me Ableton goes WAY deeper than my guitar.... I can play whatever chord you like and sing a song around the camp fire if you like, but to come up with something impressive myself with a program like Ableton where there are so many possibilities is in a different league, I'm not sure how you could even attempt to argue otherwise really.... Maybe YOU forget that you already know how to use a DAW.3phase wrote:what? learning ablton preset styles is like the good ol guitar lessons? ready in 3 days to produce your "own" track?alex.the.forge wrote:funny, I seem to remember paying my guitar teacher 20 odd years ago...3phase wrote: its just intersting how much money can be generated with teaching ableton live...
in the past people did that just for free... but times are changing...
..
I think you forgot a bit about the time and pain involved...
This is not instrument teaching here..

Besides, whatever you think of Tom or the idea, saying that posting one thread on the Ableton forum is spam is a bit of a stretch, to me it's way more pathetic to be going into that thread and attempting to shit all over it like you are... I mean all it says to everyone here is that you are bitter and jaded with way too much time on your hands....
