+ HELP identify this effect from GORILLAZ 'sweepstakes' +

Post by grainshifter » Fri Apr 23, 2010 7:39 am

hey wizards,

i'm trying to identify the delay effect being used throughout this track 'sweepstakes' off the GORILLAZ latest 'plastic beach'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GjQLhj4kzR4

it sounds like the a delay, but pitch bended in descending frequency.

i really would like to use a similar effect, in live preferably to recreate some
sounds i heard in a dream....

please take a moment to help?!

thanks

You should be able to use the xy controls of a spectral/granular delay to recreate something that does that. Live has a granular delay built in..
