what the f**k is 'QUANTIZE'??
'QUANTIZE' what does this mean and what does it do? when would i use it and how?? any help would be greatly appriciated!!!!!

It's a way of helping things keep in time.
An example:
You are playing something on your midi keyboard into a synth track into Live along with your tune, but you don't quite hit all the keys at the right time, some are a bit late, some early... but you want them to all be in perfect time.
Once you have recorded your MIDI clip, you choose to Quantize it to a certain degree... for example 1/16th notes... then it will snap any notes that are not exactly sitting on a 16th note (devide a bar up into 16 little even hits) to the nearest one, making every note play in time.
That is just one example, you can use Quantizing to help so when you trigger clips or loops in Session view, so that they always start playing right on the beat, rather than you trying to hit play perfectly every time.
