Thanks for your reply...ha, I just noticed that too!... yes - I have sent an email, no reply :(

I was wondering if it is a problem with Snow Leopard itself? I done a bit of Google-ing and it seems it's just not me, but there's been no answer or solution! :(

Maybe I should downgrade ...

I use Live 8.1.3 on Snow Leopard and have my occasional crashes, but most of the time it's because of a third party plugin (IK Multimedia Classic Studio Reverb in my case).

try installing 7.0.18.
i don't have many crashes, I am 10.6.3
