Is there a way to select all tracks....?

Yes it does:

In Arrangement view set the loop to the bars you want to copy/cut/render/whatever
and click on the Loop-Brace (right name for it?)
it selects your looped bars from the very first(top) to the very last (bottom) track.

absolutely..

I'm even too lazy to actually grab and set the loop markers..
I just select time and then hit ctrl+L..

little tip:
did you know that double clicking in the beat time ruler will zoom in on the loop and places it in the middle of the screen..?
