Personal dilemma Traktor Pro to Ableton Live

re:cording TPro mixes, yep, just record into Live, if you miss a mix just drop back to the previous track and try again, don't even need to stop Live. When you're all done just cut out the bum mixes and edit the bits together. easy as.

what's the difference to record straight within traktor itself and edit 'bum' mixes from there???

Absorutery none now you mention it haha, just use Live for your edits/export, boom shaboom.

Just a quick note: As of the last Traktor Pro update, you can no longer select/activate MIDI ports from the MIDI preference pane. In order to send MIDI clock messages, you have to create a MIDI map page, like the one with all of your omni mappings, and set it's output to the Traktor Virtual Output.

Don't give up! Read a bit about Traktor's virtual ports and sending/receiving MIDI and clock messages, and before you know it everything will click.

Unfortunately for me this must be a Mac function as I'm relatively handy with the Controller mappings page of TKPro having setup an Oxygen 49 for use with it. The only output options I am ever offered though is None or All Ports. I will certaily investigate though because I don't want to give up!!
