hello Forum,
i wonder if it would be possible to limit the APC40´s faders to 0db (instead of 6db default)
without losing the ability to navigate thru the session with the APC´s Bank Select buttons.
it seems quite logical to me that the APC fader is bound to a Live chanel as soon as i make special
assignments to it.
but still it would be nice to have an alternative method of limiting the fader globally to 0db.
i used the midi button in live to assign fader 1 to chanel 1 and then set the limit to 0db in the assignment window
on the left. heres a screenshot http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2245778/Bildschirmfoto.Live.pdf
APC Faders set to 0db max limit
Re: APC Faders set to 0db max limit
Hi f32,
that´s unfortunately not possible.
You might check, if adding a Utility plug-in with Gain set to -6 dB to your tracks is a workaround that functions for you.
Best,
Jörg

Re: APC Faders set to 0db max limit
i'd loooove to have relative mapping.. it's the one thing that really annoys me on the launchpad and would on the apc40.

If you link the faders directly to the channels about the midimap-function, you can put in a maximal-value into the midimap-window. but so you can control 9 faders only.
