Does anyone know why nothing shows up under Input Config?

Does anyone know why nothing shows up under Input Configuration in Preferences? My Audio Interface seems to be working fine but my Audio tracks will no longer engage.

What platform are you on, OSX or some variant of windows?
If your on OSX have you checked that your hardware has been seen by core audio in the audio/MIDI set up?
