A few days ago, I finished a remix of Sunday Drive, found on the great new Lux Divon record. Jimmy said he wanted to add some bass to it, so while we wait on that, I'm putting my version out to get your opinions. Check it out:

nice neb.

good on you for posting it in this thread. i missed it when it happened, but since you brought it back to life and i got to hear some good music... Lux Divon just sold another copy of I Am That I Am. thats some great music. it could sit proudly between Portishead and Mazzy Star on a CD rack.

your mix sounds really good too. to soon for me to say which one i like better, but you did a really good job of showcasing the vocalist (in a totally non-tacky not over the top at all way). 8)

*tips hat*

thx, dude, appreciate the comments. Whenever I do a remix/redux, I never expect or want to be better than the original - how can it be? The original is great as is. My version is just another interpretation. Glad you liked it.

^ seriously... thank you... :| best 10 bucks I've spent in ages, well since the new Souls of Mischief album, other than that though, nothing comes close.

I keep listening to this at work. I liked it from the start, but it has that magical quality of an album that gets better as you listen to it more. IMO Jane's Addiction are a prime of example of that phenomena... This piece of music definitely has it.

My only regret/point of bumnation with this whole thing is that I'm not in Austin to hear/check it live. I miss Austin... still, peeps I grew up with live all over town + Buda and in Kyle too so I've got couches surrounding the area. One of these days I'll get back that way...

expect a PM asking for show times when it happens.

Peace & may the album sales gods rain their blessings upon you...

Nice... no.... beautiful! :D

Great mix mate... her voice and the guitars really work well..

The missus came on the studio when it was playing to ask who it was... I told her 'ah just some weird dude geek from the forum' 8) )
