live 2 ?

Hi, just saw that sound control are offering live 2 for £99..
anyone know the cost to upgrade to 4?
seems like it might be a cheaper way to get on board
how does live 2 perform?
would i still be able to upgrade to say 2.1/.2.3 ect with bug fixes?
how was live 2?
I dont need midi but the audio whatnot would be great with Reason
Well if anyone has any thoughts i would appreciate it

You'd have to pay for 2 upgrades; from 2->3, and 3->4. IMO, 4 is worth it, even if you won't be touching the MIDI stuff. The routing and performance is greatly improved, and plus, live3 isn't being maintained anymore.

You only need to pay for the upgrade from 2->4... which I believe is only $120 or so if I remember correctly...

There is no 'middle' upgrade path... whatever version you have would go directly to the most current version...

If I needed or wanted live... I'd go for it. Version 2 will certainly give you a good taste of features and be a good place to start... or go right to 4, which is personally what I would suggest...

$120= £63 for upgrade

total price for live4 = £162 , that's pretty good I'd say
