8.1.3 Crashing on Launch after switching to custom vst foldr

I tried turning on the 'use VST Plug-In Custom Folder" in my preferences on Live 8.1.03 and now when I try to open it it crashes on launch so I can't even get in there to change the settings back. After crashing a couple of times I was given the option to reset and relaunch which would presumably restore the old settings however it just crashed again. I tried deleting and reinstalling 8.1.03 but the same thing happened. Works fine in 8.0.9 and 8.1.1. Do I just have to wait for 8.1.04?

which operating system do you use?
Have you tried renaming your VST custom folder, so it cannot be loaded?

I've got the same problem and I am totally angry of what is going on. Half of my VST stopped to be see by Ableton with no reason.
