The iPad template has more controls, and more clip grids...etc.

Nice work, ST8! It would be great to have the ability to adjust metronome volume. Please consider adding that. That knob is very handy on the APC.

This makes sense with more screen real estate. Thanks for the comparison screenshots.
What I'm really wondering about is the quality of the control, rather than the quantity of controls. For example, do the fader moves on the iPad have more stages/increments than the iPod, or are they the same?

That makes me want an ipad !! absolutlt increadible. I m going to try it on my iphone first.
Is there any way to navigate in the browser (the left pane) in Live.
APC40 + nativekontrol can do that
Being able to navigate and load plugins or other stuff...
Anyway, keep up the good work it's really amazing !

I'm going to look into this further, there is a way to switch views and navigate up and down.

Yep delicioso, I also saw your other post on the other thread. I'm just saying that it would be a good thing to have it directly in LiveControl.
If it's not that, then, don't mind me

adhoc bonjour connection = deluxe
another feature request: in the Launcher page, how about holding 'shift' and tapping an empty clip slot to create a midi clip? would be handy for using the sequencer page, creating new clips without reverting to the mouse.
and once again, cheers

well yeah. that's a link to a post in this thread when i asked about the same thing where ST8 said only documented API features could be implemented. but it sounds like navigation and switching views is being looked into now.

OK, this is a big one:
I watched a video with someone using an iPad to control Live, & the knobs on the iPod had to catch up with the knobs in Live -you could clearly see the takeover message at the bottom of the Live window, as well as see the control on the iPod moving, while the control in Live did not as it waited for the iPod to match it.
So, does this get feedback from Live so that it will automatically match the controls on the iPod with the positions of the controls in Live? Or do I have to move each control on the iPod to match the controls in Live via takeover mode?
Does it operate with relative midi control, or is it absolute?
For example: I open a session that has lots of controls in various positions: will the iPod automatically match these positions with its controls?

There is no midi, this is all over osc. All of the controls will automatically update and match with Lives settings, there no takeover, they just update (the script reads the status of the liveset)
