simpler patches not working

Hi - sorry if this has been covered, but I searched and wasn't able to find anything for this specific problem.

I manually copied a bunch of stuff from an old library over into a new library. now I have this problem:

when I load simpler patches, they don't load the relevant audio file correctly. The reason is because I have copied all of these sounds into the wrong area.

When I load a simpler preset, it expects the audio file to be in

Library/Waveforms

however, I have copied all my sounds into

Library/Sampeles/Waveforms

so at this point - if I move the entire waveforms folder up, the simpler patches work but the sampler patches do not. if I move it back, the simpler patches no longer work but the sampler patches go back to normal.

i've tried doing the 'repair library', but it still doesnt work

what should I do? I really don't want to manually move all the simpler patches over!!

how would you go about uninstalling simpler and reinstalling it? I don't even see the seperate live packs for download anymore, just one big "legacy" pack

I apparantly do not have the 'simpler' live pack installed, and I actually cannot find it on ableton.com/livepacks


i've no idea how I got my library so screwed up, and i don't really care. i'm just going to move each relevant simpler audio file into whatever folder the program asks for so that it works and I can get back to making music.
