Funny it's not mentioned yet; Ableton's own Live tutorial videos are a good starting point, as well as the built-in tutorial in Live itself.

i have been a member of sonic academy for about a year and it has helped me a lot to produce dance music along with showing basic techniques and workflows. nicks tutorials are also really good and indepth for abletons instruments

Explains sampling techniques really well and opens up operator to a whole new level.
Definitely gave my friends some skills that I have been trying to teach them for a while !
