How would I go about doing the folowing:
I have a couple of audio clips running playing some synth pads (4 bars, 2 chords repeated twice) and they have a fade out due to the release of the synths. I want to be able to loop them for as long as i choose, but when I decide to move on I want the clips to play through the last bit of the audio - the fade out/release.
I've set a loop point so that the clip loops bar 3&4. If I press the "stop clips" button when "moving on" the sound is cut at the begining of the next bar - I want the natural fade out of the synths!
Then I thought I'd control the loop trigger via midi instead of using the stop clips button, but you have to have a clip selected for it to work and it only toggles off the loop button on the sleceted clip.
So what do I do??
I need a way to have a perfect, natural sounding loop going for as long as I choose, but at the end I need the clip to play all the way through giving the synth part a natural ending too.
