hey guys just looking for a decent gater plug in and i have no idea where to look, ive googled gater and it keeps coming up with the same crummy DFX gater which i cant download..... any suggestions?

Try the Ableton Gate. It's very good though I would like to see it expanded so it worked on midi notes as well as just audio.

betabugs makes a cool stereo MIDI gate, i think it's called the gletabitch or something. i haven't used it recently but I used to use it all the time; it never gave me any problems.
