presentation and locking confusion.

i tried making a patch last night, but couldnt work out how to get the things i wanted in the finished patch to stay there.

i made some live controls, set it to presentation mode then put them where i wanted, then when i saved it it went back to the patching mode and everything was a mess and not in the plugin gui.

how do i make my patch look like i want it when i close the max editor?

You need to set your patcher to open in presentation mode. To do this, launch the Max editor, select View>Patcher Inspector, then find the option 'Open In Presentation' and check the box.
