Learning Tension?

Post by clamber » Sat May 15, 2010 3:41 am

Hey guys, Im trying to learn how to use Tension, and Im not really sure how to go about it. Ive been playing with it for a while now and still no luck even getting close to the sound Im trying to get.

Im trying to get a sound similar to this guitar sound:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFmlvNNadfU

Is it even possible to get that sound out of Tension?

Any links or tutorials for learning tension?

What about any tips on how to get the sound Im looking for.

Thanks,
Coby

I once took the KEYS clavCimer preset for tension, then modified a bit and voilà

this preset is a good start for learning tension and how to get a nice guitar sound.

If you want I can share my modified one to give you an example.

Maybe it sounds more like a sitar but it sounds ok

Thanks guys, Ill look into the presets and play with them.

I may look into buying that AAS String Studio. Any other string synths to consider?
