Selling my APC40... what about Live?

Hi everyone,

I'm sorry if this is not the best place to ask, but it's been a week since I contacted Ableton about this, and I haven't got any answer back so far.
I want to sell my APC40, but I upgraded Live Lite 7 that came with it, to Live 8, and now I would like to know how will that work. Do I have to sell it with Live, or do I get to keep my copy of Live 8?
Hope someone knows the answer, or anyone from Ableton reads this.

Great then. I just thought they would be tied to one another, because I upgraded using the CD that came with the APC... My ultimate question is, when I sell the APC, the person who buys it will get the same CD/serial, and if that person decides to upgrade too, won't it be a problem?

probably, just explain that you're selling the APC only and not live lite. You might have to knock a bit off the price.

If someone else tries to use that serial to activate Live, I would think that activation would fail.

dosn't even matter, its not as if your buying the apc for live lite.
you get it free as the apc is more or less made for use with live, so if you havent a clue about anything its a little programe in which you can start your music shiz with.
