MIDI Track View Modes - Block, Staff, Tab

I can only afford one DAW. I'm glad I chose LIVE but I'm starting to see the holes.

Like, how do guys document lyrics ?

What if MIDI tracks had view modes ? where you could select views other than the normal block view.

I'm surprised by the apparent lack of interest in this subject area ?

Aren't Lyrics an important part of many music styles ? Also, am I underestimating the difficulty of displaying notes on a music staff ?
