Group buy reached 2500 users! So it is now officially 5X1.

New goal has been set. Need a total of 4000 users for 6X1!

Let's do it!

I finally purchased this and liking it.
I went with:

Acoustic Drums 2
Bass Collection 2
Electric Guitar Collection 2
World Instrument Collection
It's reached 5X1 and will prolly get to 6X1! I got in for $25!(+25 Jampoints  ). I'm taking her easy and downloading a pack a day and exploring a bit before proceeding to the next.
So far...
Cinematic
Bass 2
World Instrument

My next one is gonna be Vintage keys cause supposedly that's got some rare ones in there like Tony Banks' stuff.

For anybody interested in quality of these sounds, I've been satisfied with all the packs except for Omnisynth 2. Omnisynth 2 doesn't add much for me to the free GB of content that comes with the Group Buy.

The others are pretty handy however, including Cinematic, World Instruments, String Symphonies and even Vocals.

For $50, adds quite a bit of value for bread and butter sounds that I never found provided in Live's library (at least as far as sample-based acoustic intruments).

Well I went ahead and got Vintage Keys and didn't find that it's all it's cracked up to be. Some of the sample sets are way too low in volume compared to the others in that pak. And I just don't find them that compelling.
I was gonna pull the trigger on the Symphony Strings but someone in another forum has alleged that they are all detuned by two cents. Some as much as four. :o Has any one in this forum confirmed this? I don't know that it would make much difference for my style of music. I wonder if this is intentional to give them a bit of a vintage feel?

Loving the sounds and packs, GREAT deal for $50.

However, I can't get midi control of parametrs to work with Live

If I press the configure button, and then select the controls I want to configure, it doesn't work. This is the only plugin I've had this problem with. Anyone got this working the way it should?

Thanks...

But now with macs 2?

at least can you write automation?

im talking with Paul from IK the last couple of weeks and he told me that they working on it and an update will be available soon ...

now i dont know if that was for the t-racks singles , for sampletank or for every IK product

Can't write automation.

Thanks for letting me know the correspondences you've had, I am really surprised no one else has mentioned this , unless I missed it. Did a search on the Forums here, but did not see anything relating to this issue.

Anyway, still love the sounds, encourage anyone who hasn't to join the GroupBuy.... For now, I'll just rack other effects for midi control

Im very surprised too!
i cant remember how many thousands joined the big T-racks GB last year
and how many thousands hit the audiomidi deal with classic eq/metering
and how many ?thousands? with the amps
and how many thousands now with sampletank!

WTF there should be a good percentage of live users ...

no one tried what he bought? :/
or all them are on XP (i think everything is working ok with XP-live-ik)

Anyway

It's weird because I CAN configure midi assignments with my Amplitube Live plugin! Just not SampleTank???

Only 376 left to 6x1. Bought twice myself. :P

I found it strange that no one mentioned the esoundz GB deal, which include an extra pack per purchase though:

http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=4293

Seems like even IK want people to shop from there as they are promoting the esoundz deal as well. Now, I dont like what I'm reading about the automation, but I guess that will be taken care of in due time. Havent tested myself however.
