one shot samples on drum racks?

once i have my samples chopped up and mapped to a drum rack in ableton how do i get my samples to play back as one shots instead of only playing as long as i hold the key down?

I believe that you need to actually increase the amount of Release on the AMP envelope in Simpler.

that's proper

you could also probably get away with throwing a note length device in front of the drum rack
