FBook BS FYI
Not sure how/who this may affect but FYI:
As of Wednesday, there is a new FB privacy setting called "Instant Personalization" that shares data with non-Facebook websites and it is automatically set to "Allow." Go to Account > Privacy Settings > Applications and Websites > What your Friends can share about you> Edit Settings, and uncheck all the options. BTW if your friends don't do this, they will be sharing information about you. PLEASE COPY & REPOST!!

Re: FBook BS FYI
Damit, I hate Facebook more everyday. Actually, I have always hated it. I have always had the same perpetual hate for FB.

Re: FBook BS FYI
Is there another more respectful option/platform that could replace FB?
Re: FBook BS FYI
Cool. Thank you. Looking forward to trying this if it comes to fruition.
Re: FBook BS FYI
I can order lube by just posting on FB! It's awesome!
"Let you're body feel the sound! Let it cover you up and down!"

Re: FBook BS FYI
anyone who uses the internet by now should know that any information hosted anywhere where other people can access it (and be it only your friends) is automatically public domain, usable for anyone, no matter what. even when you delete that data, it can long be copied and moved around.
so fuck privacy settings, there IS NONE on the web.
check facebookfails.com. they COPIED the data of the people that didn't want to have them shown in public. happily, they blur the names. but even if you delete a post/a picture etc, that you didn't want to get published somewhere else, it's most likely allready gone.
facebook is public, like everything else. and the policies of facebook just reflect that: all data on them is public, and they can't guarantee that data you remove is deleted. that is the default rule on the web, no matter what. it's outside of facebooks control.
so .. FB BS .. BS!
this one on facebookfails is an excelent example:

long deleted data, still on the web (and now on this forum, too)
