Writing drums in ableton

Hey, thanks for watching , i have a problem, im learning to play piano but im not an advanced yet,
i have the Abbey Road 60s drums and im making a song, the problem is that i want to put half time
snares, so when i edit what i play i dont know where exactly do i have to put the beats
when they are in 2s or 4s its easy but here im having a headache
?you get me?
for example the youth by mgmt is made with half time snares i think

Just double everything. 2 becomes 4, 4 becomes 8....etc.
