Win 7 64 ultimate plugins not showing up

Having issues wtih arturia and t-racks plugins not showing up un lives plugin list. i can see some people are deacticating the UAC within Win 7 to alleviate this but thought i would ask to see if anyone has any expereiences with this also.

Yea, deactivate UAC and Run as Administrator....that's the only two things I've found to work for problem plugins so far, although not those plugins specifically.

This worked for me. Cured T-Racks and Arturia suite not appearing in plugins list within live. Will probaly iron out any other issues with other plugins. I am in the last throughsd of doing a full reinsatll so when i,m finished i will turn UAC back on as it s part on Win 7 security. Incidentally the Arturia and T-racks are legitimate softwares not cracks in case your wondering.

this did not work for me...It started with my ARC plugin not showing up, then it seemed like every plugin from that point on after that install did not show...Arghhhh!

Actually, It worked for one plugin but I had to, disable UAC, restart, then trash abletons preferences, restart ableton, then it came up.
When I didn't trash the preferences it still didn't work, unless it was just a fresh re-scan from trashing preferences. In order to see the preferences folder and file on your C:\ drive, you have to make sure in windows 7 to put a check in "folder options" to see "hidden files and folders". Another trick to re-scan your plugin folder properly is to hit Alt-and then click the scan button in Abletons GUI preferences..

disabling UAC is probably the first thing to do..(if only for getting rid of the annoying popups )

dont think its UAC.
just click on properties on ableton and "run as administrator".
always does the trick.
