Has anyone here checked out the new Mobile Sound Canvas?
It's branded as Cakewalk in the publicity but marked as a Roland in the photos I've seen (I know they're both owned by Roland).
It looks interesting as a way of playing back songs in a live setting where portability is important.
But, apart from the SRX expansion bay, it doesn't look all that different from the Sonic Cell.
I wondered if there were any other significant differences as it is quite a lot cheaper in price than the Sonic Cell?

Hrmm does look interesting.
I have always wondered how something like this (or the Sonic Cell) for that matter would go with the MP3 playback feature and whether that could be conbined with a midi out sync that could be feed into Live.
