Nord G2 modular: Problems with recording MIDI [varation]

Hello,

when I hit record on my G2 nord modular keyboard it records CC70 data in the middle of the CC range. CC70 is used for variation changes. The CC70 data recorded is different than the variation currently selected; which changes my sound. This makes recording impossible or very unhandy.

Does anyone else have this problem or a solution?

if anyone has a G2 and uses ableton and doesn't have this problem, i would also like to know as I am trying to figure out where the problem is comming from... thanks! seb.

Is this with a certain patch, or all patches?

hi, i have also posted on electro-musician... but no reply yet.
its with many default patches, and my own custom patches too... so hard to tell.
