do you have a midi monitor program? If you download one and use it on your midi outs from the efx500 you can determine whether it's outputting the right midi info or not. If it's not, then find the efx500 forum

EFX500 to Live

Post by audioel » Wed Apr 20, 2005 9:17 am

Hi,

The problem with the Pioneer EFX500 is that while it sends clock information out based on the audio, it won't transmit start or stop messages - which Live requires.

Regards,

Gustavo
