Re: New novation product.
The fact that you can clearly see it's a Rane mixer makes me wonder if it's a controller made with The Bridge in mind. Another likely possibility is that it's a Launchpad-stlye apc40 thing - but with the EQ channel knobs that all the DJ's want.
This is pure guesswork though. I really don't know what's up.

I'm guessing this is it - based on the fact that it showed up on djtechtools at the same time and it looks like he's pressing a button on the corner of his turntable in the photo...

Can't stream video at work. What is it? If it's something you attach to a vinyl deck then I'm relieved because it's something I have absolutely no interest in.jhartford wrote:http://www.djtechtools.com/2010/05/27/t ... gle+Reader

Its basically a mini launchpad that works in conjunction with a turntable/Serato.beats me wrote:Can't stream video at work. What is it? The turntable looks like technics and seems be to be running Serato. With a little corner launchpad to fit in/around the vinyl making it easy to trigger clips and scratch/trigger multiple cue points etc

Phheeeww. I just bought a VCI100 because I'm sick of waiting for NI to get their shit together on releasing a full function DJ interface. I would be slightly annoyed if Novation was doing that right now.

Better not be, that would be absolutely shockingly bad- inconceivable even,

Re: New novation product.
Probably a virtual deck type controller.
Nothing to see here - move along!

I think you're right... it has got those usb cables with bent usbconnectors I know from my Novation LPs...
Re: New novation product.
could be some partnership of some sort with Rane.. the Rane logo just being in view is more than a coincidence I think.. could be a new controller for Serato/bridge..3dot... wrote:don't think it's a mixer.. there's a 'Rane' mixer in the picture...
maybe a software product..
Re: New novation product.
Whos up for emailing Ean Golden asking him to confirm that its the new novation product?
Re: New novation product.
So now everybody following the "lost iPhone prototype" pattern and the Reason countdown idiocy? He surely found it in a pub just outside Novation HQ.jhartford wrote:http://www.djtechtools.com/2010/05/27/t ... gle+Reader

Perhaps it's a new dj controller built into a watch.Tarekith wrote:I think it's a new watch.
