@ LoopStationZebra,
here are some screen shots of my set up,
the MIDI output on the drumpad (yellow) is set to IAC bus 1,
the MIDI output on the keys (blue) is set to IAC bus 2.
are you get any messages in the message boxes (red) when you tap on the ipad, should get messages that start with /9 from the drum pad page and /10 from the keys, all the pages of livecontrol messages start with /1 to /6.

also in livecontrol config have the use ip's toggle on,

Cheers Stax.

No dice, Stax. Matched everything you had (except the actual IP numbers of course) and it didn't work. I'm not getting any ping messages at all. Your template works fine though.
delicioso are you out there? Have you tried this yet?

@ LoopStationZebra,
I am going to test on a couple of other PC's/Laptops. One thing I though, have you got a firewall that may be blocking the the IP addresses?
I have tested with the most recent Max Runtime on my Laptop, what version are you using?
Cheers Stax.

Using MaxRun 5.1.4
No dice again. Tried a bunch of different things. No firewalls. Tried going through my router, nothing. Creating an ad hoc network, nothing. lol. Be nice if someone else could try this on their iPad or iPhone.

No, I'm fine with just using LiveControl by itself as I have Maschine for pads and a midi keyboard.LoopStationZebra wrote:No dice, Stax. Matched everything you had (except the actual IP numbers of course) and it didn't work. I'm not getting any ping messages at all. Your template works fine though.

Ok, here we go, new mac version is online: http://bit.ly/aXfghW
I need to update the docs to tell you how to use the router, but other than that its all done. The rotaries give you access to the first 4 parameters on the selected device on the selected track. The fader gives you access to the selected send on the current track. Hopefully those'll be useful in conjunction with the drums/keys

Re: LiveControl: Automap for TouchOSC (ipod/ipad)
Can you make 2 OSC connections from and to a single TouchOSC template?
For example, could I replace a few tabs of this template, give elements custom OSC messages and get bi-directional control from a M4L device. While keeping the functionality of LiveControl in the other tabs?

yes thats the whole point of the repeater, means you can use your own custom pages and livecontrol at the same timehoffman2k wrote:Can you make 2 OSC connections from and to a single TouchOSC template?

I'm not in the ipad gang yet, so I have to plan out some things blindly. But having something like a simple jazzeditor does make things a lot easier.
Is the connection between the LiveControl app and M4L a fixed IP (local?) and port?
Cheers

define your own ports in the repeater sectionhoffman2k wrote:Ah sweet! You ROCK!!!ST8 wrote:yes thats the whole point of the repeater, means you can use your own custom pages and livecontrol at the same timehoffman2k wrote:Can you make 2 OSC connections from and to a single TouchOSC template?
