:D Yeh. That seems logical! :D

Or maybe it is to do with scrotum length?

If there is the length that gives the ability for that part of the anatomy to straddle, then I could see how that would work.

I believe being in ownership of testicles would make these chairs quite uncomfortable to sit on.
Did you read the testemonials on their website? :)
And men have been riding horses with saddles for a few hundred years now.

Seriously though. Best chair ever. A friend has one. I tried it. Now I'm saving for one. In the end any chair that makes your legs sit at a right angle to your body, even if it feels more comfortable than some other (cheaper) chairs, is just bad for your spine.

I wouldn't suggest buying a saddle chair without trying one. Definitely recommend trying though.

Thats why they made these:

I'm thinking of getting one of those. My colleague has one at work and its brilliant after you get used to it. I now borrow his chair whenever hes out of the office :D

I'd be pretty afraid of the goods getting pinched in there.
I just picture my stomach dropping in that unique way when I try to stand up.

As long as you don't mind wearing pants when you're using Live I think you'll be okay. :P

From the Salli website:
"A divided saddle chair decreases the pressure subjected to the inner pudendal arteria (arteria pudendalis interna). This arteria takes care of the blood circulation and erection of the penis. It has been noticed that the blood circulation of the penis of bicyclists has become worse as the saddle presses the perineum. It is assumed that a long-lasting pressure on this arteria causes the thickness of atrium septum and erectile dysfunction (there already is some reference information about this phenomenon concerning bicyclists). In other words, the Bambach chair blocks the blood circulation by pressing the inner pudendal arteria and causes numbness by pressing the pudendale nerve."

Hmm looks like Salli could be the way to go.

Judging by amount of posts on this forum about lube. I would say some people find it to be a part of their Live Pre-Launch sequence.

this seems cool, the salli or saddle seats seem really great but also really expensive (the salli swingfit is genius, but around 900$...),

what do you think of these balloon seats around 200$ ???

anyone tried some??

seems fun and comfortable, but definitely to try before buying I guess...

cheers

since a good friend of mine designed this particular chair (he won a red dot award for this design) i got one quite cheap straight from the factory "outlet" because it had a few marks on the chrome base.

its seriously one of the most comfortable & ergonomic chairs i know

but its a german company, their prices are usually quite high and with shipping to other countrys they should be way to expensive to really recommend them ^^

why kidding?

i used a lot the yamaha dm2000 for live, it's great, it's a digital mixer which has a midi layer... and i used live (live6 when i could still rely on it)

instead of an outboard rack, works with most digital mixers, like yamaha's (also their flagship pm5d[rh]) or digico's

here is a pic from a job, the lappy you see was running live6 with plugs as my outboard rack all triggered via the digico d5 console, neat.

the little midas venue you see in the picture was only used as a talkback

next to it is a yamaha m7cl and further left was a digico d7 and behind that another d5 feeding two stages at germany's 60s birthday  celebration, but i hate yamaha's sound. clean and sterile.
