I tried this, but I don't see any keys, pads, or cue volume.

Also, the mute buttons do not operate consistently between tabs. For example, if you mute on the Mixer tab, it won't reflect that change on the Track Control tab. Also, the mutes on the Track Control tab seem to require at least one toggle to have any effect.

Also, the track names are not showing correctly on the Mixer tab. For example, I have four tracks, but only the first two show the correct names in LiveControl.

Try clearing your browser cache and redownloading, you've somehow got an old zip not the latest, someone else had the same issue with the mac zip.

Can't get this working right at all. I've tried changing the 'startup sequence' of everything. Doesn't help.

Seems as though you have to click Start Router BEFORE you select a MIDI out port??? Either I can get the standard controls working, or the drum pads partially working, but not both at the same time. Also, when I hit a drum pad there seems to be a constant MIDI message that is sent and it freezes/crashes Live.

Anyone get this working properly?
I came for the

RE: the Start/Stop router button. Sometimes it changes, sometimes not. If you start LiveControl and hit Start Router before you select a MIDI out, it will work. If I select a MIDI out and then hit Start router, it doesn't.

@LoopStationZebra
see pm, its hard to diagnose whats going on without seeing how your app is setup.

Use router is ticked on the configure page of LiveControl right? It should be select your midi output, hit save configuration. Then hit start router. Then start Live. The midi output is actually saved even if it doesnt show it as being selected when you restart LiveControl, so you shouldnt need to select it every run.

Ive found start/stop router button is flakey, best to close LiveControl to stop the router, then reopen it to start it again and hit start router afresh.

PS: are you using ips or bonjour host names?

Watched some vids with LiveControl:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuEedOzHw0Q

Seems like this is mac only.
Is there anything comparable to this program available for Windows with direct integration to live? Or would I need m4l if I wanted clip names etc.? Is Usine already usable with the Ipad?

Is there anything around with access to live clip names etc.? Or is that only possible with m4l?

Is this video with m4l done with LiveControl?

Ok, got it. However, these are still issues:

The mute buttons do not operate consistently between tabs. For example, if you mute on the Mixer tab, it won't reflect that change on the Track Control tab. Also, the mutes on the Track Control tab seem to require at least one toggle to have any effect.

The track names are not showing correctly on the Mixer tab. For example, I have four tracks, but only the first two show the correct names in LiveControl.

More suggestions:
1. Make the track names enabled on the Launcher and Mixer such that when pressed, they selected the tracks. That would be sick.
2. IMO, the faders are plenty big. Maybe consider decreasing their size to allow for another row of buttons on the Mixer tab.
3. Maybe decrease the clip buttons' size a little bit, and make volume/pan/send faders on the Launcher. They could be implemented horizontally much like the clip position indicators.
4. Or perhaps another tab with the launcher and mixer combined, but with smaller buttons. It would be cool to not have to switch tabs as much.

Huh? LiveControl does this on its own with nothing else required.
#1thelark wrote:Or is that only possible with m4l?
M4L/OSCulator option is only needed to use the new pads/keys feature in the latest version.
