I just recently moved from OXS to windows xp (not out of preference). I'm now having rewire problems. In OSX you open live, then open reason, and they link together automatically. In windows, I open live, then open reason and live doesn't see reason and there's no rewire thing going on. I've looked all around, but can't findanything talking about this. It just says to enable reason in the live audio tracks (which I know), but Live doesn't even SEE reason so it's not happening.
help?
Live and Reason rewire problem
Rewire...
Hi Twain,
The propellerheads website has this handy pdf about rewiring live and reason (apparently ableton made it).

I think its good but it doesn't troubleshoot your problem. Rewiring needs the Rewire engine installed to work. It should be automatically installed with reason. Dunno where it goes in xp but in OSX it's in Hard Disk>Library>Application Support. Someone else mentioned on these forums about making sure you only have one Rewire engine installed, deleting all but one.
Hope that helps,
M

make sure that you are running the newest version of Live. I had issues and all i did was uninstall and reinstall reason and all was well. No idea what went wrong though. Hope that helps.
