I know the upgrade is much cheaper, but the rate at which the price is moving I know I will never be able to afford another version after this.
This is a shame because I have been with Live since L1.
$1500.00 USDtlennon wrote:The obsession with upgrades is perplexing. Anyone should be able to produce, mix, and compose music with the setup they have. But we all seem to stive for an improvement in workflow, get bug fixes, and increase the number of tools as new features come to market. I am resigned to the fact that I am a Gear/Software Junkie and will eat peanut butter and jelly if I had to in order to keep up with updates. How much is $133.5k dollars in USD anyway?
No, the upgrade would be 16,000.00 Jamaican (189.00 USD). I am talking the full L8 Suite not the upgrade, this would cost a first time buyer US$ 1500.00 (Ja$133,500.00). This is for serious producers and completely out of my league.McQ714 wrote:i think he's mistaken. it should be about $13,350.00 Jamaica dollars for the upgrade, which would be about $160 give or take. the exchange rate right now is $1 USD to $86.65 JMD.
You're kidding right?evon wrote:I mean, there is no doubt that Live is good. In fact it is definitely better than most of the top DAW's around.....
