Is there anything I can do to help this? This sucks as it kind of makes getting this new computer less fun.
edit: just put in session drums and its working fine. the EIC is what i need more than drums though

Problem installing alp from EIC to a new macbook pro
I am using the latest version of snow leopard. I was able to install successfully alto sax and choir, but others it makes ableton "not responding". I have to force quit or it will give me the twirly ball of wait forever.
Is there anything I can do to help this? This sucks as it kind of makes getting this new computer less fun.

Well i tried patience and it worked. It goes "not responding" for quite som time. but then it told me the alp was already installed(maybe through the 8.1 patch? i dunno). I think they are all already on my computer so i dont think I will need to install them.. But if i find the sounds not there I will try the method of taking off the disc. Thanks for the input.
