What ever glitch plugin(s) you choose, a good way to toggle "instant" glitch effects on and off for live use is to build a rack with two chains, the first chain completely dry (no effects) and the second with your crazy plugin(s). Switch one chain's activator on, and the other off. Then assign both Chain Activator buttons to the same MIDI/QWERTY key. Now hitting that note/key repeatedly toggles seamlessly between them - no need for the glitch plugins to load or buffer, because they've been processing audio the whole time.
