Hey everybody, I've searched the forum without much luck on this topic. I'm looking to be able to toggle/switch/scroll thru the available INPUTs for audio tracks, so if I'm creating on the fly and switching between my hardware pieces I don't have to touch the mouse. Is this possible either through midi map or qwerty controls? Anyone know a simple way to go about this. I have an APC 40 and a few other midi controllers so midi devices aren't a problem. Was wondering if Bomes Midi Translator would help out at all ? If i'm not being clear enough please let me know

.

Not sure what you mean...
Are you trying to get the sound from different instruments routed to different inputs on your soundcard through the same track?

I'm looking to toggle the "Audio From" area on my audio tracks so i can select individual inputs from the sound card. I basically just want to be able to scroll through the available soundcard inputs(1/2-->7/8) with a shortcut of some sort, either thru a midi controller or QWERTY keys. I'm just trying to be as mouse free as possible. It would be nice to be able to scroll thru the available inputs without have to click the drop down menu. Is that a more clear explanation? Hope so lol. Thanks

maybe you could rack up some external effect devices with inputs set to your instruments, and cycle through them with chain selector controlled via midi? output can be left as 'no output', so it's effectively the same as setting the input directly on the track.
