OMF or AAF import/export
OMF or AAF import/export
Hi guys, So far I'm loving Ableton Live. It's been a big part of my workflow
One thing that kicks me in the nuts is that I can't work with other DAW's
I like to record stuff and maybe get somebody else to mix it, but I can't if he uses Pro tools or nuendo and such.
Not to mention that I use Ableton to make scores for movies sometimes, and not being able to recieve a OMF/AAF file from a editing studio is a pain. I have to use Pro tools or Logic, which I really don't like
So OMF or AAF import/export would be ace!

Re: OMF or AAF import/export
I've got to bump this. OMF file export is going to be essential to me soon.
(As well as audio and midi track comping...but I'm sure that's coming, because it's been requested so many times....right?)

+1 but I don't think it will come
Re: OMF or AAF import/export
I just started working on a Movie project. And again I have to use Pro Tools HD eventhough I can't stand this program!
The work flow is so cluttery and it has many bugs!
I have never loved Ableton Live more than I do now, I keep thinking "Aaah if only Live had OMF support, this could be so much easier"
Please Ableton! For the love of God give Live OMF/AAF support!
