have you tried syncing the template using an adhoc network instead of via your router?

And another thing..Just installed air sharing app and i've manage to exchange files between my PC & iPhone
that means there shouldn't be a problem uploading the template too...but...

got it! its a zip file, rename from .touchosc to .zip, unzip and theres the xml file!

fixed that bug with sequencer

Hopefully fixed the autoconfigure problem. Anyone that couldnt see their iphone/ipod/ipad in autoconfigure please try out this release

The first volume fader will not reset to 0 visually when resetting the volume. The volume itself does, just not the fader. The small volume fader on the Launcher page resets, it's just the fader on the Mixer page that does not move back to 0. When moving the first volume fader inside Live, the 8th fader is what moves on the iPad. Moving over to the next 8 tracks, when moving the volume faders in Live, it turns off all of the track activation buttons. This update really borked my live set.

edit 01: OK, the first fader's reset button actually resets the 8th fader. But both the 1st fader and 8th fader control the first track.

Yup, that works. And if I recall, in the previous version, pressing the Shift key on the Launcher page turned the Mute buttons to stop buttons only while the Shift key was held down. Now it acts as a latching switch instead of a momentary switch. I definitely think it should be momentary, don't want to have to press Shift twice just to get it back to Mute. Would hate to stop clips while playing when I don't want to.

The top row in the Sequencer doesn't update the note name, it just stays on G. It still enters the correct note in the clip, whatever comes after the note below it, but it just always say G with no octave number.

When folding the notes in a clip in the sequencer, all the notes disappear and do not reappear when unfolding. The correct notes that are only used update on the note ruler on the iPad, but no notes are present in the grid. Only relaunching the clip gets the notes to reappear in the sequencer on the iPad. And the folded view only updates after pressing Up or Down on the iPad after pressing Fold.

In the keys window were you able to take a look at the skipping sends? I've got 3 returns, but the sends +/- button skips over the middle one. You see it for a second...

It's great to have 8 tracks, thank you.
But is it possible to block tracks volume to 0db, it will be more practical.

First things I'm noticing with the latest update (rev.118):

Stop/Mute buttons on Launcher page are still latching when pressing Shift, should go to Stop only momentarily while Shift is held.
Master fader does not work on Mixer page, does work on the Launcher page.

I was getting intermittent functionality out of the Mute and Reset buttons, when bringing down a volume fader and pressing Reset, the volume would reset, but the fader would not go back up to 0. But after clicking a few different buttons and trying again, it would in fact reset to 0. Same with the Mute buttons. The button on the iPad would turn off, but the channel would not mute. After trying a few more times, it would work properly. Not sure if anybody can reproduce that, I'm always wary of intermittent problems, so hard to figure out what is wrong if it actually works some of the time. Could have just been my network being futzy.

Will continue to torture this lovely beast!

should be getting my ipad this or next week at which point ill be able to properly test the iPad template, at the moment im using a test template on the iPod.

Can anyone confirm if the auto-configuration now works?

Just to say it works plenty and ST8 did a fabulous work. Congratulations.

The thing that was not working for me was on the mixer tab. The master volume control was not working. All others were ok.

I have a macbook pro (beginning of 2008), leopard and live 8.1.3 and and wifi ipad 16 gigas

Is that master fader volume a bug or because of my config?
