Clip Triggering: Maximum triggered clips per track poly mode

Post by angrymonkey2 » Mon Jun 14, 2010 6:29 am

You know how on the MPC you can allow multiple samples to play continuously with other sample, if I remember right the function is called "Poly" and "Note On" how do you achieve that with Live, especially on the same track. For example, track one has 2 samples. The first sample is 10 seconds long and the second sample is 5 samples long. How do I trigger the first sample so that it continues to play even after i trigger sample two (remember:theyre on the same track). Thanks in advance.

there are mainly two options for reproducing two samples simultaneously

- use two tracks

- use an instrument rack and stack them samples into simplers / or use a drum rack.
