I always thought "DJ Tanner" would be a good alias...
Isn't there a DJ by the name of DJ From Full House. If there isn't, there should be.

.. No he doesn't. He did "break" this in proresssive house, which happens to have a very large following. Thank god he did, who knows how many sales ableton have gotten from it, and the more people that use it the more interesting things will come from it. But he never acts like that at all... your just bandgwagon jumping to get some cool forum points.

I don't personally listen to sasha's style of music anymore, but to slag the guy off as shit is really ignorant. Sure it might not be your thing and you might get sick of hearing other people constantly talk about it.. but the fact is the man is one of the best at progressive house. Fuck that, he's a freaking pioneer of it. So regardless if it's your thing or not, at least give him repsect for what he does.

(i.e. I don't like Teisto's music, but i'd be a fool to say he's not good at what HE loves)

hahaha, this is what makes me laugh more than anything else.
andrew acquired enough cool points about a decade ago with his radio show...
he certainly isn't voicing his opinions for popularity purposes, he's voicing them because they are his opinions.

I was referring to what I quoted, not anything Andrew ever said about sasha his whole entire life.

oh give us all a break here. "his whole entire life"
what you quoted, and the props he gave sasha were 2 posts in the SAME thread, posted 12 minutes apart.

by saying you are only referring to what you quoted from him, is taking what you quoted from him entirely out of context.

If he said that a year or two ago, yea i could see that. But 12 minutes? c'mon man.

mate, slagging sasher is always worth the big points, on the forum or no.

especially when he goes off on one of his tirades about how 'quintessenially innovative' he is or how 'the press loves mah new hairstyle, dont you?'

.. or even 'i'm so much smarter than those ableton forum twits anyway, how dare they!!?"

you should see it, we usually start sniggering then bust out in mad hysterics before he's even done

quite silly, that ...

.. btw, how *do* you warp a track properly i cant get the buggers to line up to save my life

I don't know, the only news I get about the guy is here, in the sasha threads.

I don't know about him "breaking" ableton to the progressive house scene, but then again who knows. I hate progressive house about as much as I hate trance.

But thats just me.

I must say that I have never read a quote from the guy claiming to be "the innovater"" and "the pioneer who started Djing with ableton" etc. etc. Maybe its his press machine cooking this up, or the prog kiddies who never heard of live making all of this hype.

I must also say I have never heard anything about sasha giving any props to his predecessors who were pushing the boundaries long before he jumped in.

So, with that, my take on all of this is that sasha can lick my browneye. He used to beat me up when we were ladsand I've never forgotten it.

Ask him. he knows me. oh he knows me........
