I have three songs that I posted so far, but you can comment mostly on the first track: Everything is Free. It's based on a poem by George Elliott Clarke.
I used my APC40 to help with the songwriting process (very handy!), a Golden Age Project Pre 73 + Edirol sound card, + a mix of a KEL condenser mic and a SURE standard 58.
I'd love to hear any feedback as to how I should tweak it. I'll use soundcloud for any future postings.

Re: Feedback for my a capella/electro sound
This made me laugh!
I don't like the reverb on the main vocals, though. It is too big of a room, and it detaches the vocals from the rest of the mix. There is way too much of it, too.
Re: Feedback for my a capella/electro sound
your drums are lost in the shuffle.. try to make them louder and vocals quieter. just try to find a nice balance between the two.

Both Groove and Jack make excellent points. I do like your idea though. Thanks for sharing and welcome Dan.

I love it till 1:40, but I think you should stick to the lo-fi style, and delete the synth and drums.
Very original

Wow! Thanks for all the comments.
Yeah, I'm definitely less experienced with synths then with my voice, but it's a learning process.
I'm going to try to do it again with louder drums and less reverb on my voice.
What a nice welcome!
