Hi,

Yes, it works with Windows 7, although there's a chance you might experience stability issues (just a chance though). See: http://www.ableton.com/pages/faq/windows_7

Folks are runnning it np. :)

Cheers

Sweet! I'd actually rather stick with Windows XP but I don't know where to get a stable laptop now-a-days that allows me to install XP and replace my old one that died. Have any suggestions?

When I got my (cheap and not at all streamlined for audio production) emachines laptop, it gave me a bluescreen every time I tried to install XP instead of Vista. What I did was change the SATA mode in BIOS from AHCI to IDE. It worked, and I've been working with that installation ever since. That said, I'm not sure inhowfar the performance suffers from that. From all i know, it should a bit.

Yes, it works great. Just runs as a 32 bit app, but no problems.

I had problems at first (new HP laptop from Costco) but just recently got an auto-update that apparently has fixed all. Now, it's zooming right along, with no issues.
