Hi there everyone!
I own a bcr2000 and an m-audio axiom49, but I have the constant impression that I am not taking out the best fuctionality out of the combination of these two controllers. when loading live, it maps the axiom rotaries to live pan controls, whih is actually ok, but it's kind of redundant to see that both the axiom sliders and the BCR200 bottom end rotries are automatically linked to live's track volumes. The same can be said for the transport controls.
Is there a way to get live mapping the bcr rotaries (except for the high end ones) only to live sends? If yes, how to achieve this? where do I have to start from? Do I need to change the settings from the enigma (m-audio) and bc edit (Behringer) softwares and then dump the new settings to live?
I am not so expert in midi programming, and afraid to fuck things up...
Does anyone know a tip?
Thanks in advance to all of you!

bcr and axiom mapping tips.
Re: bcr and axiom mapping tips.
hey, first of all welcome to the forum! as for your problem, i suggest you to make a search here in the forum for "user remote script". Remote scripts are text files which tell live how to map its controls to the controller's pots, knobs, faders and buttons. You probably are already using the default remote scripts under the "control surfaces" panel to map the axiom and the bcr, but by creating your own scripts you can choose what maps to what. Shame that you can't map everything, you just have the options for volumes-pans-2sends-selected racks.
For the bcr especially, i remember there was some "famous" script hanging around somewhere, not sure if was from the covert operators..which was not bad if i remember correctly.
Another option could be to get inside both midi editors (enigma and the bcr one), assign the cc's and parameters you want to the controllers (there is no real standard, i usually assign them to cc's from 10 to [...]127 skipping the cc#32 which is dedicated to somewhat), then open a new live set, create some tracks as you want them, map the controls you want, and then "save current set as default" under preferences-file,folder. This way every time live will open in the future it will open this set, with these controls already assigned. but be careful with this, be sure to do it with an almost blank set, it is important that it will not crash at startup or you will go crazy recovering the old default template-as i did a couple of times
i think i was not very clear, so if you want insights just ask-there are a lot of crazy mappers here!

Re: bcr and axiom mapping tips.
the BCR can also be used in "Mackie emulation" mode.. so search for that as well if you're at it
