Master Tempo Automation Causes Skips

In 8.1.3: Gradual changes in tempo tend to cause artifacts and other sorts of distortion; quantized jumps in tempo causes skips...how can I automate tempo changes without these problems? I've got my buffer up all the way to 2048 and changing it doesn't seem to help very much..

Hi Spiffy1661,

it would be interesting to know what exactly is contained in your Liveset.
Some tempo-synced plug-ins (eg. delays) might respond to tempo changes with skips. If you´re for example using Live´s Ping Pong or Simple delays, please make sure that the transition mode it set to "Fade", you can adjust this mode by right-clicking into Live´s title bar.
